Can Beer Make Your Jeans Look Good?

As part of a collaboration with Carlsberg to celebrate their 170 year anniversary we produced a series of short-form stories that demonstrates the impact of Carlsberg’s inventions over the last 170 years.

One of these stories is about the denim designer Piero Turk who is a master of making new garment look old.

Exploiting enzymes can produce great results, without polluting the environment too much. In 1952 Carlsberg mapped out a protein degrading enzyme for the first time, and shared this discovery with the rest of world, kickstarting a groundbreaking progress within technology and industry.
